The art director at The Chronicle of Higher Education found Adam Niklewicz when he searched the Directory of Illustration for a strong, conceptual artist to illustrate an article proposing that liberal arts education and vocational education should go hand in hand.

The art director thought that Adam’s direct, concept-based style was perfect for the piece, which is entitled Elite Colleges Have No Monopoly on the Liberal Arts.

Adam’s illustrations can be seen regularly in America’s leading publications, as well as around the world. In addition to his wide-spread editorial presence, he has enduring relationships with major advertising agencies, design firms, and book publishers. His work has been recognized by numerous illustration award annuals including The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, The Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, Japan’s Idea Magazine, and Print Magazine.
