From the Artist: “Because I draw mainly with pen, a medium you can’t erase, I learned to pay particular attention to line quality. When drawing I like to combine loose and almost chaotic lines together with tight detailed ones to give my drawings a sense of energy and movement. I paint in a very similar way to my drawings, using bright colors loosely next to more detailed and muted colored areas to create the same sense of movement and energy in my paintings as in my drawings.”
