This week, we’re featuring Caroline Riley’s ongoing project—a self-illustrated webcomic called A Mirror’s Tale. According to Caroline, the story is about “unrequited love, forming strong bonds, and the tragedy of war and injury.”

A Mirror’s Tale is a queer/LGBT mystery novel about two young boys traveling up the California coast while attempting to uncover the reasons behind one of the boy’s mother’s abduction. The story is formatted as a love letter from the main character, Lee, who reflects back on his journey with his best friend, Haro.
