Truly Exciting News

We are so excited for Directory of Illustration artist Paul Shipper who was commissioned by THE Simon Pegg to create a poster for his film, The World’s End.

I, the humble author of this blog, am such a huge fan of Simon Pegg and of the Cornetto Trilogy by Edgar Wright, that when I head about Paul’s experience I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.

Paul’s aesthetic classically captures the era of true movie poster art, of the age when portraiture, color, and careful juxtaposition conveyed the essence of a film in one grand image.

You can read more about Paul’s journey from Simon’s initial request to the final product (+ find out who the poster was a gift for!) on his blog.

Additionally, please explore Paul’s Directory of Illustration portfolio for more awesome art.
