Hereâ€™s a reminder of my Private View this Monday, plus a few more good reasons to visit Greenwich tomorrow: undisturbed Thames walks with views of Canary Wharf; the Maritime Museum (who do nice exhibitions, eg 2015â€²sÂ Plague, Fire and Revolution with this lovely animation); Royal Naval Collegeâ€™s painted ceiling, Red Door Cafe, Greenwich Park, Greenwich Market, the Czar Peter statue by Mikhail Chemiakin, echoing his Monument to Peter I in St Petersburg; and The Golden Chippy, recently voted best London restaurant by TripAdvisor. I would add Eltham Palace but itâ€™s shut on Mondays.
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, this Monday evening is my Private View and Print Sale:
