My first article for the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic Highlighter came out this week featuring my tips on using a hybrid workflow. A hybrid workflow just means combining traditional drawing and inking methods with digital painting. In my article, I give tips on how to go back and forth from the drafting table to the computer screen. I also discuss some of the tools I use, like my Huion LED lightborad which I love, love love.

Thanks to editor Dionna L. Mann for reaching out to me and for being so helpful. SCBWI members can see the full article here at www.scbwi.org. I think the article came out really well, and I was happy to be able to include process images for my Blissful Bumblebee illustration.
