Friday, Sept. 26th will mark the release of a whole new set of stamps from the United States Postal Service.  For this, USPS commissioned Jason Seiler to illustrate iconic chefs that have shaped American culture.

The stamps were beautifully illustrated to resemble oil paintings. The selvage represents a white china plate resting on linen.

This is the first time that chefs will appear on postage. Featured chefs include: Edna Lewis, Felipe Rojas-Lombardi, James Beard, Joyce Chen, and Julia Childs.
