They Tried to Bury Us / They Didn’t Know We Were Seeds

Extending my love and thoughts to #Ayotzinapa and the 43 missing students of the Iguala mass kidnapping. They winged bodies spell out the Mexican poem used in the student protests:
“They tried to bury us. They didn’t know we were seeds” / “Quisieron enterrarnos, pero se les olvido que somos semillas.”

Last week over 200,000 people protested in Mexico city demanding the government to return what they took. Read more about the protests here.

Risograph prints will be available in the justseedsartists store soon.

A couple of folks were asking for prints of this. I finally made some poster prints which you can buy here at a relatively lower cost than my other prints.  They are also available at the Justseeds store.
