American University commissioned John S. Dykes to create an expansive series of illustrations commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The article provides a captivating and informative overview of major moments in our countryâs history. Every page, from top to bottom, is a creative display of talent, culture and progression.
