A couple of months ago, I was asked by the ever-incredible Janet Sung AKA kuru731 to participate in a zine she was putting together. The concept of the zine was a collection of comics, illustrations, and writing that encapsulated the quarter life crisis and the shared experience of teen angst. Of course I was game.
I wanted to take the opportunity to look back on my experiences in the boys locker rooms at my middle school in suburban Ohio. These are vulnerable spaces, where your understanding of your identity – your body, your gender, your sexuality – can rapidly take shape.
A whole lot of love and gratitude to Janet for giving me the opportunity to explore these memories
