Taking photos on location with a model sets up some very different complications than shooting photos in a studio setting. The model needs to be the type of personality that can both enjoy possible attention and ignore it at the same time. As for myself, I tend to block out everything else and my attention is purely on the model and what the photo looks like. I really liked the out of focus neon backgrounds on these. These were shot purely in the ambient light at f1.8 with a very slow shutter speed of 1/30 of a second. My asa was 800. I did use a Cokin starburst filter on the blue one at the bar.
