This picture started out as a portrait for an in-house corporate magazine, in my painted technique (which is actually digitally painted). But last week I finished a cover for The Progressive that I did with a new, more graphic look. It’s an outgrowth of what I was calling “Woodcut Style” or sometimes “Digicut”, but this is something else. So I’m going to call it Graphic, unless I can come up with something better. I went back to my website this morning and renamed the Woodcut section to the Graphic section. I’m excited about this look, it makes me happy to work at and look at.
