I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to post pictures from our project for the Living Arts Festival in Thailand. We spend 10 days in Bangkok and boy was it hot. Hot and humid. The 10 paintings our team created turned out beautiful! You can see all of them on our WeTalkChalk
Here are my favorite pics of the painting Remmie and I created. Our location was right in front of the Starbucks and if we were lucky, we could stand in one particular spot and feel the air conditioning wafting out. It was great!

My painting was not only 3D, but also 4D. I designed the artwork to flow from the ground, up a false wall which reveals a whimsical fun house character who actually blows real bubbles out of her mouth. I brought a bubble machine with me to Thailand and mounted it inside the wall so the bubbles would blow out a whole at her mouth. Everything worked out perfectly!! I also glued small rhinestones and sequins to the decor of the saddles of each pig. Remmie and I had a great time painting it and are really happy with the results 🙂
