FROM THE ARTIST: “This pen and ink drawing of Saint George Slaying the Dragon depicts Saint George as a Greek warrior. I wanted to convey fear and violence, but I didn’t want the image to be too gory. Saint George is wearing an extrapolation of a traditional Greco-Roman warrior’s armor.”
