FROM THE ARTIST: “I was recently asked by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance to illustrate an article for the section “Fundamentals”. The article by Adam Shell explains where to find investment research and how diversification in your research is as important as diversification in your portfolio. I focused on the idea of “Research” and how to fish good information on the different resources could lead us to make the right decisions and catch the big fish. I used the fish as the metaphor for our investment. I used a simple and clear vector design this time without outline but just with the color palette. Simple color tone on tone and very light textures trying not to oversaturate the main message with too many details.”
