ABOUT THE WORK: Gary Ciccarelli was commissioned to create an MTV poster for their popular reality series Floribama. The poster was reflective of the 80’s-90’s vibe that is so popular today. The finished piece is fun and whimsical with all the characters riding on a crocodile as they jump off the page with excitement. Ciccarelli used a mix of digital and hand painting to render this poster. The final artwork became a billboard featured in Time Square in New York City. Ciccarelli said, “It was a fun project and I enjoyed working with the creative team at MTV who were ecstatic when the illustration was completed.”
