I am excited to share a painting from my new Winter series. “Before Flight,” is an oil painting measuring 30” x 48.” It is also currently available (email me for details if interested). I hope to have limited edition prints available some time in 2022.

‘Before Flight’ is all about that moment of recognition before our feathered friend takes flight. It’s that quiet calm that happens when snow falls in the wild. You can almost feel the moisture of the falling flakes.

Honestly, this painting gets me excited for snowshoeing! I can just feel the warm winter day. (Hopefully, if I see a bear it’s a long way away!
