I was going to narrate this video, telling you all about these beautiful horses and what they mean to me. Then I decided it wasn’t necessary.

They are regal, intelligent, mysterious, gorgeous, and curious creatures. I am endlessly fascinated by them. I visit them often. I am always thrilled when they stop to say hello and let me give them a scratch. On one of these excursions, this red one was posing in the perfect golden light. I knew it would make the most beautiful painting.
