The team at The 2017 Old Farmer’s Almanac enlisted the help of Steven Noble to commemorate the book’s 225th edition with a cover redesign.

Steve studied earlier designs of the Almanac’s cover in order to update the cover’s look. The end product features “an enhanced cover that brings the familiar ‘four seasons’ illustration into clearer focus, a specially designed font, and a logo that has been freshened for the digital age.”

Steven specializes in woodcut, pen and ink, traditional engraving and steel engraving styles, as well as a variety of stylized scratchboard techniques. Explore his body of work through his Directory of Illustration portfolio and at stevennoble.com.
