I spent many summers of my youth in Moscow, Idaho. I have some very fond memories of it.

Thanks to the Idaho Commission on the Art’s “My Artrepeneur Program,” which was in Moscow, it enabled me to visit my family in the area four times last year!

To say I am excited to have paintings on display in Third Street Gallery is an understatement.

Elevated Perspective at the Third Street Gallery in Moscow, ID features 12 artists who participated in the My Artrepreneur Program™(MAP), sponsored by the Idaho Commission on the Arts and hosted by the City of Moscow in 2022. MAP is an art-centered business development program taught by working artists. The program is offered in one location each year, rotated around the state. Artists registered in 2022 attended four workshops in Moscow, hosted by City of Moscow Arts staff and the Moscow Arts Commission. Throughout the course experience, artists developed their studio practice while building a kit of 35 essential tools for an art-centered business.

The exhibition is a capstone experience for the 2022 Artrepreneur cohort, showcasing the vision, development, and potential of the participating artists.

Reception: Thursday, August 31 from 5 – 7 p.m.

Location: Third Street Gallery inside Moscow City Hall at 206 E. Third St. Moscow, ID. 

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
