Vicki Ling is originally from Shanghai but lives in New Orleans.

Working with coloured pencils she creates delicate and elegant artworks which explore various themes of modern life. As she feels that contemporary lifestyles tend to obscure various crises that spontaneously erupt, from privacy invasions to public health issues and from climate change to personal emotional disorders, she is interested in surfacing that sense of tension and insecurity and raise these issues to our collective consciousness.

Having lived in Chicago, London and Shanghai, she has worked with various commercial clients and exhibited her work in galleries in various parts of the world.
