From the Artist: I was asked by the Italian magazine Internazionale to illustrate an article by Scott W. Stern about the story of Palo Alto, from the foundation to current times. “A stunning, technicolor anvil of a book – quoting Stern – starting before the founding of Stanford University and proceeding through the rise of the computer, the internet, suburbs, startups, and startup culture, ranging from wars of conquest to the Cold War to the war on terrorism to the tech industry’s war on privacy.”
