Project: “Why is there still no Pandemic plan?”

From the Artist: “I was asked by The Critic art director, Martin Colyer, to illustrate an article by Benjamin Lewis about how the Covid inquiry could help improve our response to the next crisis. Together with the art director of the magazine we decided to go with a very straight conceptual illustration in vector graphic with flat colors. I used some simple metaphors to illustrate the main topic of the article: having the wrong plan or underestimating what’s necessary to do. I chose to illustrate the concept with a mouth blowing out of the butterfly net some covid particles too big to be withheld.”
