FROM THE ARTIST: This was a self promotional piece depicting the adventures that can open up to a child’s imagination by reading books. I chose a flying book much like the flying carpet in Aladdin which opened up a “whole new world” of imagination. The boy points forward as they anticipate the adventures that lie ahead.
