FROM THE ARTIST: “Amazing Black Atlantic Canadians” is part of a book series I have been working on the last two years. This book covers the profiles of black Canadians, from the past to present day. I wanted to portray the illustrations with a rich, colorful presence to match their extraordinary lives. The next upcoming book in the series will be “Amazing Indigenous Atlantic Canadians.”
