Home remodel is stressful, especially when you discover your fixer-upper has become a complete rebuild in several major rooms, the exterior, etc.

The first three months of the remodel were extra stressful, because hungry termites infested our kitchen floor’s support beams and were moving up the walls. That area had to have a full restoration. After three months of rebuilding a kitchen and a room to live in, we were ready for restoration as well.

Thank goodness the Gulf Coast of Alabama was only a few VRBO clicks and about eight driving hours away. In just a few days, my husband, dogs and I were lounging in a Gulf Coast condo while it poured rain.

Since the was clearing up in a few days, we extended our stay with a home less than 75 yards from the ocean. We walked on the beach, collected shells, ate takeout seafood, and sang karaoke. It was restorative.

Once we were home, I looked through our vacation photos on my phone. I knew I wanted to recreate one of the beach sunset photos as a sticker for our travel journal. I had taken the photo our first night before the rains came.

I knew the photo would be perfect – all it needed was a little photo editing … a little restoration. And, it was.

An upload to zazzle and a couple weeks later, the sticker was ready to decorate my journal. I loved the sticker so much I offer it to the public in my shop and in my Zazzle shop.
