With a degree in Applied Arts, Chellie Carroll started off as a designer for a retail design consultancy. From there, she was approached to work independently on animations for the launch of the PlayStation 2 and BBC3.

Since 2000, she’s focused wholly on her career as an illustrator. Chellie’s style is eclectic and adaptable, though she’s often commissioned to illustrate pretty, beautiful things that contain floral images and decorative patterns. Her art is often detailed with computer-based vector line work, though she also works with mixed media painting and drawing. These techniques bring layers to her art and help give her illustrations a unique depth.

Chellie has an extensive client list that includes BBC3, BT Vision, Cadburys Flake, PlayStation, Kelloggs, Cancer Research, Schaller Cosmetics, style guides for Mattel, The Sunday Times Magazine, Contagious Magazine Computer Arts, Readers Digest and Oxford University Press, among others.
