Jonathan Allardyce, represented by Illustration Ltd., created 2 light-hearted pieces of artwork featuring the economic systems of Essos & Westeros for 1843 magazine.
The first image is a playful analysis of Queen Mother Cersei’s debt crisis.
He states:
“Her predicament derives largely from her failure to understand the nature of international credit. Cersei needs to hire an economic advisor, and quick!”
The second illustration shows Daenerys Targaryen poised and about to launch an invasion of Westeros and take the Iron Throne.
Jonathan continues:
“Chaotic conditions there favor her cause, but she still has many obstacles to overcome. The Economist maps out how she can win the game of thrones.”
