Por Osos Vodka

Steven Noble was commissioned by Por Osos Vodka to help illustrate their new brand mark that includes a two-headed bear with two different expressions: one being fierce and the other much more happier mood created for Bert Kreischer And Tom Segura . Por Osos, translated from Spanish (because of Tom Segura’s Peruvian background, and Spanish speaking deep cuts), meaning “for the bears” is a play on their top comedy podcast “2 Bears, 1 Cave.” This vodka is by the bears (Bert and Tom). The illustration was customized in a hand-crafted woodcut traditional style.

The Lumber Exchange

Steven Noble was commissioned to help create a series of custom illustrations in a scratchboard engraving style for some key brandmarks for a new company launch called “The Lumber Exchange” (located in Hayward, WI) These unique illustrations include characters such as “The Musky Bronco,” “The Quill Axe”, “The Dapper Loon” and “The Lumberjack Team.” These playful illustrations help captivate the imagination as well as help tell the story behind the “Lumber Exchange.”

Siempre Tequila

Siempre Tequila approached Steven Noble to collaborate on creating their new Siempre Tequila Supremo label. Siempre Tequila is a brand that embodies the passion and heritage of its founders, Monica-Patricia Sanita-Ramirez, Alex Lacroix, and Chris Matte. Inspired by Monica’s grandmother’s mezcal-making legacy, they embarked on a journey to create something truly special. With a commitment to innovation and a deep understanding of the unique characteristics of each distillery they work with, including water sources and equipment. This illustrated label depicts this rich history from its historic origins and sourcing which embodies it’s full cultural heritage.

Gutta på Haugen

Hoien Design commissioned Steven Noble to create a customized logo mark for Gutta på Haugen. The illustrated logo includes a classic crest like mark that includes a shovel flanked by a fork with crown positioned over an acorn. The logo mark was used on all packaging, branding, web and other media applications. The artwork was hand-drawn in a scratchboard woodcut/engraving style.​

CSU Chico

Steven was commissioned by CSU Chico to illustrate their new logo mark for use in the university’s seals and and bronze medallion plaques. The university was founded back in 1887 and is the second oldest campus in the Califonia State University system and this logo mark commemorates this rich heritage and was cast into a bronze  medallion for the investiture and commencement ceremonies. A simplified version of the seal was completed for smaller applications. The illustrations were hand rendered on scratchboard and supplied digitally as eps files.

Burgess Cellars

Burgess Cellars approached Steven with his expert skills to hand-illustrate all their new packaging labels that covers all their AVA’s St. Andrews, Clos Abelle, Quartz Creek, and Sorensen Vineyards located in the Napa Valley. Burgess Cellars was established back in 1972 on the slopes of Howell Mountain with over five generations of farmers being passed on from family to family.​

Redwood Empire Whiskey

Redwood Empire Whiskey commissioned Steven to custom illustrate their three new labels that includes: Foggy Burl, Devil’s Tower, and Screaming Titan in a scratchboard linocut style. The Foggy Burl is based actual redwood tree burls and among some of the tallest ever measured (347 feet). Foggy Burl tree collects 40% of its water from the fog each year for sustainable independence. Redwood National Park is home to more than 45% of the remaining old-growth coastal redwoods on Earth. Deep within this forest is the Devils Tower. Named after the striking monument in Wyoming it rises 340 feet into the sky. The Redwood Empire stretches from San Francisco to Humbolt Bay and on to the Oregon border. It is a rugged, sparsely populated area still dominated by forest, including the protected groves of Muir Woods and the massive forests of the Humboldt Redwoods.​

Steven Noble Creatures II Collection

The Steven Noble Creatures II Collection of illustrations includes a series of scratchboard woodcuts and engravings that includes different conceptualized creatures and figures generated from the inventive imagination of Steven Noble. All artwork was created traditionally using a knife tool carved into scratchboard by hand.​
