I love cemeteries for exploring, painting and contemplating. I love sacred spaces of all kinds, I’m interested in the human need to seek the divine. 

There are larger cemeteries in Paris with famous folk buried there but I find the hunt for celebrity monuments distracts me from the experience of being in these amazing places. (Besides, this one is 5 minutes from where we are staying.)
