This fall, acclaimed Mexican artist Guillermo Flores Pacheco unveils his first solo exhibition in Europe, Beyond the Orb, opening October 14th at Retroavangarda Gallery in Warsaw. Presented in cooperation with the Embassy of Mexico in Poland as part of the third edition of the Latin American Art Exhibition, the show will be on view through December 2025.
Blending digital collage, surrealism, and dreamlike narratives, Beyond the Orb invites viewers to journey beyond the limits of the visible world. Each work opens a portal into richly layered scenes where myth, memory, and imagination converge—deeply rooted in Mexican culture yet infused with a distinctly contemporary vision.
Featuring nearly 50 pieces spanning multiple phases of Flores’s career, the exhibition showcases the evolution of his unique visual language: one that seamlessly fuses design precision with emotional depth.
With over two decades of experience as a graphic designer, illustrator, and art director, Flores has collaborated with some of the world’s most recognizable brands—including Adobe, Apple, Nike, Cirque du Soleil, Marc Jacobs, and Wired Magazine. His work has earned recognition from Communication Arts, American Illustration, 3×3 Magazine, and Lürzer’s Archive, among others. Recently, he was commissioned by Adobe to create the splash screen artwork for Photoshop 2025, a testament to his influence and creative reach within the design community.
Beyond commercial projects, Flores continues to expand his artistic practice through exhibitions around the world—from London and Tokyo to Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. Now, Beyond the Orb marks a milestone: a celebration of imagination, identity, and transformation set against the vibrant backdrop of Warsaw’s Retroavangarda Gallery.
