Tinner Bros. Whisky Label

Steven Noble collaborated with Buddy Creative to craft a custom illustration for Tinner Bros. Whisky Co., an award-winning brand developed for Southwestern Distillery. Inspired by the legend of two 19th-century Cornish brothers—tin miners by day and moonshine distillers by night—the illustration captures their story in a classic woodcut/engraving style that echoes the brand’s rugged heritage.

Firestone Walker Label

Steven was commissioned by Firestone Walker Brewing Company to create hand-drawn illustrations for their packaging labels, including the iconic Lion and Bear and the detailed seal crest in a scratchboard woodcut/engraving style. Based in Paso Robles and Buellton, California, Firestone Walker is the state’s fourth-largest craft brewery, known for its signature hoppy ales.

Notably, the artwork was entirely hand-drawn—no AI tools were used—ensuring the client holds full copyright and exclusive ownership. Unlike AI-generated images, original hand-rendered illustrations can be fully copyrighted and trademarked.

Ten High Whiskey Brand

Ten High Whiskey engaged Steven Noble to create a custom brand mark illustration for their label featuring a bald eagle clutching a ribbon inscribed with “America’s Native Spirit.” Rendered in a traditional woodcut etching style using a scratchboard technique, the artwork reflects the brand’s heritage and character.

Importantly, the illustration was entirely hand-drawn—no AI was used—ensuring the client retains full copyright ownership and exclusive usage rights. Unlike AI-generated images, hand-drawn illustrations can be fully copyrighted and trademarked.

Originally introduced in the 1930s, Ten High is an American whiskey brand now produced by the Barton Brands division of the Sazerac Company. Its name refers to barrels aged at least ten ricks high in the warehouse, where conditions accelerate the aging process.
